Description:
The ACS tools are designed to work on jacketed or jacketed and armored multi-fiber cable. Their main purpose is to gain mid-span access to fiber optic conductors by slitting the outer jacket or jacket and armor on the above cables. The tools are designed with a precision adjustable blade to avoid damage to the fibers.
Features:
Professional-grade tool ideal for slitting the armor layer on fiber feeder, central tube & stranded loose tube fiber optic cables, as well as various other non-fiber armored cables;
Versatile design features a guide wheel for stability to accurately slit the outer polyethylene jacket & armor in one step;
Performs longitudinal slitting & circumferential (ringing) stripping on cable ends;
Optional red guide wheel allows the ACS model to accommodate smaller cable diameters.
